and so the day has arrived. my first ever trail run. 15km (approximately) up in the John Forrest National Park.
i’m writing this at 3:40am and am simultaneously excited and bricking it. it’s a bush trail, it’s the time of year that our cold-blooded, legless, reptilian native creatures wake up, and go out on the search for food and mating.
i don’t like them. this run will be more confronting fear-wise than tough mudder…
02:45 – berocca, 1 x multivit, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x glucosamine, zinc tablet
03:30 – bowl muesli, toast, orange juice

12:30 – pastrami & salad rolls, cup of coffee, lots of water
15:30 – cup of coffee. weight-watchers mini chocolate roll
18:30 – lamb, haloumi & tomato kebabs with cous-cous. 1 beer
20:15 – milk, 3 fish oil capsules, 1 night-time multi. bed
