well this weekend provided me with yet more evidence of how much i have changed my life. not only did i take part in my first ever 5k event, i finished it in a time that knocked over a minute off my target time.
which reminds me, not only did i fail to maintain the journal (and my fitness pal) over the weekend – i still need to write up my race recap!
i was undecided whether to go for a run this morning or have a rest day – in the end it was quite a late night, and i had an unsettled night resulting in only a couple of hours sleep in total. so that was decided then – rest day!
