wasn’t sure how i was going to feel this morning; went to bed last night feeling very tired and drained, knowing that the scheduled training for today was 1km repeats at 5:00 per km pace!
luckily i woke reasonably early, and feeling a little refreshed. the 1km repeats put paid to that, and i actually fell asleep after eating my brekkie, and then slept almost the whole way from home into perth!
felt great after that though 🙂
02:30 – energy gel. drink of water. 1km repeats (see below)
03:45 – 1 berocca, 1 x multivit, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x glucosamine, zinc tablet
04:00 – 2 slices ciabatta toast with fried egg, spinach, bacon and hollandaise sauce, orange juice.
05:25 – bus, nap
06:15 – black coffee
08:00 – choc hazelnut fruit mix
09:30 – lavosh crackers & cheese
11:00 – beef rissoles & apple and walnut coleslaw. peaches & apricots with prune.
sleepy start to the day for me – dragged myself out of bed early for some 1km repeats at 5:00 per km. Talk about hard work, and the final 1km was about survival, not speed…
