I hope you appreciate the time and creative effort required to come up with this week’s blog post title! It took literal nanoseconds…
anyway, first things first, the meat eating seems to be working still, and my body seems to be adjusting. there have been fewer instances of stomach discomfort, and I think my energy levels are normalising. I’ve only felt hungry once, have skipped lunch on a number of occasions, have definitely slept ok, have had more than enough energy and focus for work, and even jumped out of bed at 7am yesterday and decided to head down to my local parkrun!
To be fair, it was a larger jump in distance than I would generally suggest people should do – but I have managed a 1km walk here or there over the past few weeks – and managed 3.5km last weekend. End result was I did manage to walk 5km in just under an hour, woke up aching and sore today, but have actually felt better as the day has progressed.
I’ve also had a lot of inspiration for the runners gateway platform this week, and have even managed to create a custom ChatGPT agent for it (link here, if you’re interested – https://chatgpt.com/g/g-sYM3MmFuG-your-run-starts-here)
So the stats you’ve been patiently waiting for, or not, are:
weight: 151.6kg (loss of 1.05kg, taking the total to 2.3kg)
body fat: 37.1% (slightly lower for the second week in a row)
body fat: 56.3kg (0.8kg lower for the second week in a row – making a total of 1.6kg of fat loss)
my blood sugar level has been steady – remaining in the order of 5.2 to 5.6 in the morning, and 4.3 to 4.7 in the early evening. I’m still taking the medications, but next month I hope to talk to my GP about weaning myself off them.
I only managed 2 walks this week, but the second one was 5km – making my total for the week 5.76km. It’s time to start working a proper schedule to prepare for an extended period of training for a 5km run!
