“Every setback is a setup for a comeback.”
Summary:
Today was a mix of challenges and optimism. Despite waking up late and missing my morning run/walk, I managed to stay on track with my nutrition and still have a feeling of excitement about my training and nutrition goals for the coming weeks and months. The late start threw off my routine, but I’m looking forward to getting back on track and re-establishing better habits.
Exercise:
Morning: No exercise due to waking up late
Evening: 30 minutes of meditation on the Shakti Mat
Nutrition:
Breakfast: Eggs, bacon, tomatoes, sourdough toast, and a cup of coffee
Lunch: Large salad from Subway with steak and cheese, a couple of cookies, and a 600ml bottle of zero sugar coke
Dinner: Vegetable soup and sourdough bread, followed by a mug of tea and some digestive biscuits
Water: 1.25l
Energy/Mood:
Morning: A bit tired but positive (awake at 5am)
Midday: Sluggish, tired, and low energy
Bedtime: Feeling ready to rest and optimistic about what’s ahead (bed at 9pm)
